The anger is not yours. The anger is an illusion. The anger is learned. Anger is a manifestation of shame, guilt, apathy, grief, fear or sadness. If you notice yourself or someone else who is angry they are truly either sad, afraid, or annoyed or some combination.
We think and feel the anger is pure. How can anything so fully flushing be impure and secondary? But the anger is not there. It is an illusion. A shadow of a shadow. The shadow of sadness, fear and grief. Separate yourself from your anger or someone else's by recognizing the anger is not yours or theirs but that of our ancestors who failed to learn and share the enlightenment of peace compassion towards our very basic feelings of grief, fear and sadness.
Learn to acknowledge and soothe the underlying causes of anger. The feelings and sensations of sadness, fear and annoyance are perfectly natural and very common. Responding to these base feelings and sensations in a positive, healthy, expansive way will manifest not in anger, but progress, pride and courage!
Anger persists because responding to sadness, fear and annoyance takes courage. Anger is not courageous and therefore will not want to acknowledge the fear, sadness or annoyance which caused it to manifest.
Good luck responding to grief, fear and sadness in a positive, healthy, expansive way - because that's yours!
